Anyone need peppers?

I still have peppers in my garden.  They just don't stop growing!  green, red, banana, chili, cayenne, pepperoncinni, etc...  I also have endive that I'm giving to the chickens because it is too bitter for us.  I have lots of dill and parsley too.  Let me know if you want any and when you can come for it!

Bible Story Idea [stuff] books

(we used to use these books for ideas for teaching classes for the kids in our Bible study group, and they all grew out of that stage)now we have these five book laying around our house > no longer being used. Let us know if you want one or all.

This could very possibly be the most random post you will ever see on this blog.

I have in my possession a set of authentic Amish garb (dark blue long-sleeved dress, cape, and belt apron) that I would be more than happy to loan out should such a "need" (or desire) ever arise. (Since I only wear it approximately once a year on very unique occasions.) In light of the youth group barn party planned for tomorrow evening, I presumed now to be an opportune time to inform you of its availability. :)

Bowling Pumpkins

Our youth group wants to do some pumpkin bowling at our barn social this Friday night. I would like to use cheap, ugly pumpkins for that if possible since they usually get all broken up. :) If you know of anyone that would like to get rid of seconds or thirds let me know. We don't mind paying for them it just seems wasteful to use perfectly nice ones.

Natural Body Care Products

I want to make some body scrubs, lotions, salves, etc... Since I think natural things are awesome and natural AND recycled things are better yet I am looking for castoff containers instead of going and buying a case of brand-new bottles and jars. I'm looking especially for the baby food or sampler jelly jar sizes. If you know where I could get some of these I would appreciate it. If you like what I make you could have some product in exchange for the containers. :)

Bad Weather Sale

Due to the wind and occasional showers we have our things set up inside today. If anyone wants to come and have a look at our things before tomorrow they are welcome to come inside. Mom made sloppy joe sandwiches and whoopi pies and we are also selling coffee and frappuccino. We have scads of boys' clothes - shirts, pants, jackets, etc... and, of course, some of my things and other miscellaneous items. Dad is selling his auto repair manuals out in the garage. We'd love to see you here!
