Yard Sale!

We are having a yard sale on Friday and Saturday. We have lots of boys clothes - pants and shirts of all sizes and in all conditions - some are still very good! Dad is getting rid of his old auto repair manuals. We are all going through our things trying to decide what we can do without. Come see what we have - our junk might be your treasure!

Chimney Sweep

I'm curious if anybody sweeps their own chimney and has a sweep to do it with. I'm going to want to fire up my wood stove here before too long.

I'm also looking for wood to season for next year.

We are making empanadas on Thursday, Sep. 23rd. Have your orders in by Wednes. eve. Empanadas $1.50, cup of rice $1.00, cup of cabbage salad $1.00. You can order for lunch or later.

Parsley

I have quite a few parsley plants in my garden that I would be happy to give away. You may even dig one up to plant in a pot for fresh herbs inside over the winter.

I need jars or I'll be in a jam!

Just kidding, I'm making pepper relish but it takes the same size jars. Odd jars pint-sized or under are what I'm looking for. If you have any you'd like to get rid of call me @ 468-6203. I would like to use them tomorrow or Thursday so let me know right away and I'll come pick them up tonight yet. I am also looking for baby food jars or smaller for some of my herbal concoctions but that isn't quite as big of a rush.

Come on people! This works so well for me but it seems like I'm the only one asking for things on here. I keep getting what I want and I think you all should try it too! Ask and ye shall receive! :)

Empanadas for sale!

Leonard and I are making empanadas Thursday, September 9th. We are also making rice and cabbage salad if you want to make a meal of it. The empanadas are $1.50 each and the rice and salad is $1/cup. You can pick it up here at lunch time or later. Have your orders in by Wednesday evening.

red hot pepper!

Does anyone have hot peppers in their garden that they aren't getting used? I'll either come and get them out of your way for you or give you a recipe for some delicious pepper relish that my brother James really likes! :)
